River Lödde
This river is more predictable and has thru the years provided very good catches. Normally the target here is roach in different sizes but ide and bream will on some days be the base in all nets.
The stretch upstream the boats

Description : A stretch with a hard bank closest to the boats and on the other section end more wet and muddy. Platform to stand on is a must where it's wet. Waders are needed on some pegs.
Number of pegs : 15
Depth : About 3-4 meter on a 7 meter telescopic whip, a little bit deeper in the middle of the river.
Baits : Normally maggot, often used as loosefeed if the current isn't strong. The amount of groundbait used is from 2-3 kg up to 15 kg, depending on the tactics chosen. A normal day you would use between 3-5 litres of loosefeed. If catches are extremely good this amount can be doubled.
Tackle : Usually a telescopic telescopic whip at 4-5-6 meter with a float around 4-6 gram. The line used is between 0.14 and 0.25, depending on target weight. The stretch is not the best for ledger or match/bolognese, but on some hard occasions that has given bream and tench in the net.
Often you use a hook in size 8-12, but on really bad or good days you can alter from this.
Tactic : On a normal day the key is to get a rhythm with telescopic whip. Often you need about 1 fish a minute to get a good weight. As the fish is between 50 to 500 gram you need to take the fish quite hard.
Feeding is often a choice between loosefeeding or normal balls. Regular feeding is often the recipe for success. The right choice between loosefeeding and groundbaiting is often the key, very much depending on the current and the fish in front of you.
Target weight : Normal is to fish for at least 40 kg in 5 hours. The venue record is 81 kg of bream, and most years 65-75 kg bags are caught.
Still,
the majority of the top weights have been with roach. In 2004 several tench
up to 2 kg were also caught. The average weight of the bream is big, usually
2-2,5 kg. The last two years have also seen a lot of small ide, and anglers
attacking them with 4-5 metre poles have weighed in between 600 and 800 fish
to win the section!
Stretch downstream the boats
Description : Closest to the boats you stand in the weeds, in cut places, after the weed the bank is hard. Often the use of waders can give you the possibility to stand a little bit further out.
Number of pegs : 15
